4th of July Weekend Show

1 post in this topic

The Stormville flea market had a couple coin dealers, I did a report last year, this year was about the same: http://forums.collectors.com/messageview.cfm?catid=26&threadid=897420

Mark Simon and Pete of "Rocks and Things" were selling there on the weekend, though Mark took a table at the Parsippany show yesterday. A flea market can be a good opportunity with all the foot traffic to put out unique numismatics, Mark had his $1000 and $500 bills, and early Bust dollars which always draw interest.

Tom Valentino of "Other's Oldies" has a booth now at the Fishkill indoor flea market every weekend, he said he does good business there, better than his shop in Coldspring. He was not at Stormville this year,

The Parsippany show was active yesterday for one of the slowest months to have a coin show. The sharpest buyers are usually there first thing in the morning.
