Guess the grade

Let’s call this a follow up to the guess the grade post that Toner Guy put up for the CAC MS 64 1921 Peace. This is my coin . What do you grade it ?

Interesting coin. Has a slider look to it. Nice strike.

 

Having a hard time deciding between AU-58 and 65.

 

I'll guess that it is a 65 with a little cabinet friction that net-graded to 63.

All the high relief coins I see look like they have been worn down, even in MS. I do think this coin is in the MS category looking at the luster of the coin. I'd go for a MS 64 on the grade. All in all 1921 Peace Dollars is one of the most difficult coins to grade.

I could see this as an AU or a 65. Very tough date to grade.

I am thinking the same as everyone else----torn between AU & MS. I could see this coin going as high as MS 63 but I'm gonna say that it's an AU 58.

I like your thinking, but will go with AU58 or MS63.

 

If I had to choose one number, it would be MS63.
