Walk Through Designation Review ??

2 posts in this topic

Does NGC offer a service that would allow an Elite Collector's Society Member to walk through a bulk submission of NGC graded US coins (valued less than $10,000) for a designation review at a show and then have the designation added and the slab returned during the show ?

And if so, what would be the charges be for bulk and non-bulk ?

Could this also apply to PCGS cross-overs ? Meaning that the coins would be reviewed and if granted the requested designation they would then be graded and be crossed under the walk through tier under for coins under $100,000?

Thank you...

Thanks for the question. When NGC does on-site grading at a show we do offer a Designation Review service. The fee is $25 for a coin valued under $10,000 and the coin will be returned to you during the show.

Yes, we will also accept PCGS coins for CrossOver during on-site grading at a show. These coins would need to be submitted under a regular grading tier as both the grade and designation would be evaluated by NGC. The grading fee is $100 for coins valued under $100,000.

There is no bulk or Elite member discount on show services.
