1951 PDS Washingtons for the toner Dansco set.

1 post in this topic

Here's the 1951 group of Washingtons for my Dansco set. 1951 on the whole doesn't have very exciting toning. Given the monetary constraints of my Dansco set, the P and S are left over coins from a 1951 mint set I bought (I slabbed a PCGS MS65FBL Franklin and a PCGS MS66 Washington out of the mint set). I'm very happy with the D mint Washie, an eBay win, and am contemplating slabbing it for my actual 1940 - 1964 toner Washinton Registry set, where 1951-D is one of the 5 date/mm's I still need. The images are by Bob Campbell, and I think he did an excellent job.
