Well.....they aren't really "worth more." The retailer is selling a package of 100 pieces of play money fro $3.49. Outside of the package, what are the plastic pieces "worth" ... what will one or more of them buy?

I made out like a bandit a couple weeks back. $1.00 at the dollar tree I got my son about about $250 in plastic coins and paper bills.

He has even used it to "buy" real money from his nana and papa.

I would assume though its for little kids you don't want to touch or eat real money. Small pets die from zinc poisoning if they eat post-82's.

And if they swallow the plastic coins they likely won't show up on X-Rays and could be harder to find and remove.
