Thanks Mark - I was thinking mid to high XF and I agree about not being cleaned. Always good to have an experience grader confirm or contest my opinion.

I would grade this one EF. There might be some minor amount of luster, but it's been my experience that American gold coins with this general appearance were EF, not AU. Also the British use a more conservative system of grading then we do.
