As Doug mentioned, we did lose a great friend prior to the show beginning. We shared several toasts in his name during the week and some of us thought of him often. However, with the occasion at hand, we went on with the week's tasks.

 

Oh, what a time we had. Let me sum it up by borrowing from a well know marketing campaign like this:

 

Taking a well-deserved vacation: $1,000

2010 P Lincoln in NGC MS67RD: -$40.00 (+$40 after trade)

Seeing Doug's coins: FREE

Watching the cruise ships depart: FREE

Spending the week at FUN with new friends: PRICELESS

 

I have attached a first shot picture of my 2010 P Lincoln and will add a few other pics in the journal.

 

Thanks to my wife (Emily), Doug, Mark, his dad, and our lost friend for making this trip everything it was. Some real memories were made here.

All I have to say is AWESOME! Thanks for posting your pics! I like the one of you and Doug in front of his display. It must have looked spectacular in person. I'm also glad you and your wife were able to have a nice little vacation that wasn't all coin related!

 

Now after reading your's and Doug's reports and suffering through the cold of last week, I am all the more anxious to try and book it for my wife and I next year!

Michael, I want to thank you both for coming down too the show. I think I would have been lost without you two. Glad you had a great time. Tell Emily that the walkabout was fun. We would of never seen those parts of the convention center without it Glad you enjoyed your time at the beach. Congratulations on your Journal Award

My dad had a really nice time meeting everyone. I was surprised that he did not rest much even though he is 80. Although, he did say he was tired. However, WE are ready for next year to do it again.
