What happens if I wrongly guess the value of a coin for submission?

What if I assume a coin is going to be graded at, say, MS65 or lower making it eligible for the economy service, and it in fact comes in at MS66, pushing it above the $300 limit for economy? Do I then have to pay the Earlybird fee of $28? Just curious, never had it happen....

Barry,

If you underestimate the value and the value exceeds the tier limit, you will be charged the applicable rate if we notice the discrepency. We do allow a small "cushion", that is, if the tier limit is $300 and the coin is worth $350 or $375, depending on the circumstances, it will probably be allowed to go through at the lower rate in most cases.
