1847 large cent RPD?

Sorry, but a lot of us are at the FUN show in Orlando and are not keeping up with the boards. Newcombe varieties are not my thing, but preservation wise that 1847 large cent is not attractive. It has numerous small scratches that net the grade down to VG at best. The color is not attractive either. Unless this is a hard to find variety, I would pass given the price.

its not a big rarity at R2 but coin looks better in hand than those pics show. No big distracting marks or corrosion. Thanks for commenting though Bill
