Medal CONSERVATION

2 posts in this topic

I have a 60mm 90-year-old bronze medal, there are some black spots on it, look like ink or something. I want to send it in to get conservation.

I check the NCS website, it only mentions coins, for example on the forms, no medals. I remember I read somewhere that NCS also conserves medals. Any info?

Though I would not be able to comment specifically on the spots you are observing, yes, a medal is a valid type to submit for conservation.
