A Great Coin Weekend!

8 posts in this topic

I had the opportunity to pick up an old collection over the weekend and might have stumbled on some very very nice coins in the process. Among the items were:

Some fabulous Liberty (Mercury) dimes which look like they went from the mint to a container where they have been sitting for sixty years.

Three very very pristine 1913 Buffalos. I went through roll after roll of 1935, 1936, 1938, nothing, nothing, nothing - oh my!

Four very nice Columbian Exposition Commems

Several 1853 Large Cents

About 100 Indians

Several 1853 Seated Liberty Quarters with pin point rays on the reverse and outstanding detail.

Several nice Seated Liberty halves

etc, etc, etc.

It will take a while to get through it all. I hope to post some scans of those of potentially high grades for opinions.
