where is the quality control

 

Hello Fellow collectors,

I have been receiving slabs back from NGC with light gray spots in the white field around the coin it's normally in the lower right side of the slab. is anyone else receiving slabs with this defect? I will contact NGC this afternoon and will post a photo tomorrow. I sure hope NGC will correct this problem and keep the same cert number on the coin. one can only hope.

I called NGC yesterday and it turns out to simply be where the white card is touching the plastic. I'll still post a photo as soon as I get done photoshopping this batch of coins....Mike
