GTG 1866 Shield Nickel (grade revealed)

Im not sure the pics are good enough to get an accurate guess, but I thought I would give it a shot. Thanks in advance. Coin has tons of luster.

It may be pic but I think bottom edge of the "5" looks to have some very slight marks and unless I am wrong I think that is the highest point on reverse so I'm going to go 64+ but could very easily be 65+

Well thanks llama, glad at least one person gave it a shot. Not sure if it's the pictures or lack of interest in the series, anyway I will give it another day then post what pcgs thought of it.

I only own one, for my type set. It's not the "with rays" version. Mine has similar marks and was graded at 63, so I'll guess 63.

I think it looks pretty clean overall. Don't own any of them, but I'll guess MS 65.

Let us know what it came back as. If it was not for that "5" I'd call that 65 all day.

 

PS-Shields have always been tad unappreciated.

Now that I click on them -there is "depressed lines" on obverse but I've seen coins get 64 with that. I'm sticking with 64+.
