Hi!

i have this nice coin but unfortunately there is somekind of a dirt or glue etc on a cheek and hairs. Not easy to see from pic but it is there. Is it possible to remove it and still get a numeral grade?

Another question is about this FAIR MARKET VALUE.

This coin XF 40$, MS60 175$ and MS63 950$, details graded coin prolly less than 40$

How i should know what it is?

Is this coin worth conservating, removing the clue and then capsulate in NGC?

It is likely that we would be able to remove the offending residues from the surface of this coin. It would, however, need to be seen in had to determine for certain. We would also need to see the coin in person to determine for certain if it would grade numerically with NGC.

The declared value is mostly for insurance purposes. Use a value that would represent what you would reasonably expect to have to pay to replace this coin in the incredibly unlikely event it is lost in the mail.
