1884s I was Talking About. Take a Look

For those that remember this is an 1884s Morgan a friend has. I won't say much more and let opinions flow. I will restrain from giving any opinions myself.

No one is going to be able to give you a reasonable estimation of grade based on those photos. The only thing I could say with reasonable certainty is that it is a Morgan Dollar.

Going by the photos I have just inspected, I can see a rub in the fields which leads me to say that the coin is an AU. For 1884-S dollar AU examples are fairly common. It is the Mint State coins that bring the big money, and as you might guessed, Mint State 1884-S are really scarce.

What is wrong with the date? It looks funny. Maybe its just my monitor. I also see a strange marking in between the 4 and the star.....again, may be my monitor

The mint mark looks kinda weird but maybe its the prooflike reflections. Looks to have build up under and yes the date does appear weird
