Down too 10 and counting

Hi everyone. Today I added a NGC MS67 1979D Lincoln Memorial with a population of 14 too my 1959-2008 Lincoln Memorial registry set. With the addition of this coin I am down too 10 coins to complete this set. This set consist of 124 coins. I have been working on this set for about 6 years now and I am getting close. With the addition of this coin and a few others that I will add in the next week or so I will be down to 13 coins to complete my 1959-Date set which currently contains 150 coins. I know my fellow Lincoln Memorial circulation issue collectors will tell you that it is getting difficult to find the top graded coins in this set. I will continue to replace my PCGS examples with NGC ones as I come across them. I hope you enjoy my picture and as always thanks for looking and Happy Collecting

WOW, another great looking addition to your set. That is a lot of coins in your set and only 10 to go, congrats on your milestone! Any idea what set you will work on when this one is finished?

You have amassed a truly remarkable set so that it is very likely that none of us "wannabes" will ever catch you. However, I will admit that I still have several "up my sleeve" and with a bit more good luck I may crawl into the number 2 spot in a few years time. NAH - wishful thinking!

All kidding aside, congratulations on yet another top pop to your clearly superior set. We may be envious but we are proud as well.

Keep it up friend!

Michael
