That was the date and point value that started my NGC only Eisenhower Dollar Set. I can proudly say that as of June 10th 2013 my set is complete (not finished). I have moved up to the 3rd spot (43464 PTS.) in the Registry and #1 in the NGC only category. While it was quite an undertaking it was very rewarding in finding some good coins with some crazy deals and purchases. I don't have any of the one of kind as far as grades go, but I did manage to pick up a few of the rarer dates for the grades. It was an overwhelming feeling adding that last coin, but the thrill will remain as I look for better examples whenever they come around. This is a GREAT accomplishment and a truly competitive set for #1. Sometimes I wish they didn't let the PCGS guys in and this is definitely one of those times. Astounding all NGC set.

 

Here's to finding some upgrade coins that you need!

Any set completed with only NGC examples is worthy of mention. Even more now than before this registry is just bloated with pcgs dominant or pcgs only sets. It sickens me. hehe not really but I am also one who would like to see pcgs get the boot.
