2 Mercury Dimes- Grade Opinions Please!

I'd probably call them both 67 FSB. I'm assuming the luster on the first one is stronger than it appears (if not, if it is dull, then I'd call it a 65+). I'm also assuming the mark on the neck of the 43S is toning, and not an actual mark - if it is a mark, that will kill the grade.

I would grade the 1935 MS-66, Full Bans. The luster is too muted to grade any higher.

The 1943-S would grade MS-64 Full Bans with a shot at MS-65. That long mark on Ms. Liberty's neck is a deal buster. If that mark was no there, the coin would make MS-65, maybe MS-66 because of the luster. If you had that type of luster on the 1935, it could make MS-67, but it's not there, and dipping would only dull the coin more.
