Do I need to use variety service for overmintmark or over date?

I was looking to submit two different morgan overdates/mint marks

Since both are listed on the morgan page (1882 O/S, 1887/6) could I submit these as a regular submission with no variety service or would I need to add the variety service?

Also when filling out the forms do I place the MM as O/S, and the date as 1887/6??

Thanks for the question. The 1882 O/S and 1887/6 VAM-2 are automatically attributed on the label for no additional fee. You do not need to select VarietyPlus on the submission form. If you would like the specific VAM variety for the 1882 O/S attributed on the label, however, you would need to select VarietyPlus on the submission form. This is because we recognize multiple VAM varieties of this overmintmark.

 

Yes, you should list the mintmark as O/S and the date as 1887/6.
