A great, relatively inexpensive (not including keys) collection would be Barber Quarters in VF30 and up. There are some suprisingly nice VF30 Barber quarters out there, and although most dates are readily available in much higher grades, VF30's are very appealing! I prefer Barber quarters over dimes and halves because I think the design looks best on a quarter sized coin. An MS Barber quarter collection or even a mixture of both MS and circulated would be intersting as well. MS Barber Quarters are very underrated at todays prices and even lower MS grades can be very appealing.
