Thoughts on a technical grade?

 

 

Eye appeal? Would she slab?

Technical grade - VF 30 .

 

Looks like the dark spot on the upper left Obverse may have been messed with. I think it slabbed.

VF-30 with some stains that affect the eye appeal.

 

Given the the sharpness grade the stains are the sort of thing you wish were not there, but they probably would not lower the grade to VF-25 IMO. If this were an EF-40 or better, that's another story. The higher the grade, the more things like spots come into play

The destination for this coin (or a similar one) is a Dansco 7070 circulated type set, for Variety 4, Motto above Eagle.

 

I perused all 2,300+ Seated Half offerings on EBay last night and this was the best example I could find for under $100. ($76)

 

I'm calling it VF-30 details, no grade.
