Please help I have a 1904 O Morgan dollar do not know value

I was given a 1904 New Orleans Morgan Dollar. it has nice toning and good detail. do not know the grade but i would say between 45 and 50 in grade. any help would be appreciated. I am a comic guy not a coin guy. thanks

If you could provide a picture, a more accurate value assessment can be made.

 

If the coin has very attractive toning, then it will sell well above it's basic grade value.

Usually the toning premium, if any, is much, much smaller for circulated coins. I doubt that you will see anything even remotely close to the premiums that you see for exquisitely bag toned unicirculated Morgan Dollars.
