Please help I have a 1904 O Morgan dollar do not know value

I was given a 1904 New Orleans Morgan Dollar. it has nice toning and good detail. do not know the grade but i would say between 45 and 50 in grade. any help would be appreciated. I am a comic guy not a coin guy. thanks

Approximately $30-$35 retail. You could probably pick up a similar coin on eBay for a bit less. A picture would be helpful.

Numismedia says $38 so it's truly probably a junk silver coin, probably around $25 - $28.

If the coin has very attractive toning, then it will sell well above it's basic grade value.

Usually the toning premium, if any, is much, much smaller for circulated coins. I doubt that you will see anything even remotely close to the premiums that you see for exquisitely bag toned unicirculated Morgan Dollars.
