2007 CND Dime struck on wrong Country Planchet?

7 posts in this topic

Hey all, First time poster and long time lurker.

Found this one a couple of years back floating in my change.

Knew it was a keeper as I had a local store look at it, and he pounce on it with offers. Said it was probably a Planchet from another Country.

As you can see it is approx 2.55g vs approx 1.79g of a regular dime of similar age.

Should I have it graded? Who with? CCCS? or?

Any ideas as to worth? Someone told me about a $1000.00

I understand that these are super rare to find.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Is that a Canadian dime? NGC slabs Canadian coins, might think about giving them a shot. As for value, heck I have no idea. I agree with the fact it most likely was struck on a foreign planchet.
