What is the determining factor to help you decide where SMS coins are placed in the registry? They has MS in the grade but some are placed in the proofs.

 

Are you going to list values for the SMS coins?

Thank you for the question. The 1965-1967 SMS coins have similar qualities to proof coins (and replaced proof sets entirely for these years), so we group these under proof Registry sets. The 2005-2010 SMS coins are ones found in Mint Sets and resemble the circulation issues, so we group these with Mint State/Circulation Issue Registry Sets.

 

The NGC US Coin Price Guide values are independently provided from NumisMedia and NGC has no control over the prices shown. I can inquire about the 2005-2010 SMS coins though.
