1879 O Morgan Dollar, Gradable?

I am new to collecting and am unsure as to the amount and type of surface damage that will deem a coin ungradable. I recently acquired a 1879 O Morgan dollar with minor scratching on the reverse. The scratches are very light and barely noticeable to the naked eye, but nevertheless are there. I am trying to determine if it is worth having the coin sent in to have graded. I know it's difficult with only a couple photos but I was curious as to other's opinions on 1.) whether or not the coin is in gradable condition and 2.) if it is, approximately what grade? Can you post a smaller image? Based on what I see, I would guess no grade, due to reverse scratches. If the scratches are truly barely noticeable to the naked eye, if it were to grade, I'd guess MS 62, at best

I'm with Mark. The obverse made me think maybe, but the reverse is another story. Those scratches will prevent anyone from grading it. Even ACG might not call this one a 70!!

I would have guessed the scratches were too much but had a difficult time finding specific examples of as to what extant damage made a coin ungradable (I could find obvious examples but nothing really similar to this coin). Thanks for the help and saving me the trouble and expense of submitting it.

Yea, that definitely shows what I would call pin scratches. Not gradable.
