XF 40 maybe 45. The spot on the reverse is a bit distracting but the coin overall is pleasant.

AU 50 in my book.

I would grade it EF-40, but I imagine the grades for pieces like this are higher these days.

I always get confused wit the difference between VF and XF when grading IHCs. I know there is a site where you can download a .pdf file explaining grading IHCs. It says the difference between VF and XF is the lower curl is separate from the tassel. I do see where between the strands of hair below the tassel and not all diamonds are present keeping it out of AU. It does have luster which is at the end of XF. I would agree after a second look, higher XF.
