You need to get the lights at as high an angle as you can. When you do this you will get less luster presentation but you will emphasize the color.

Tilt the coin, but not too much, angle the lighting and then take about 100 shots!

 

Or you can always use the angled glass method with an Ott light, I've never really had that much success with that technique.
