kryptonitecomics
I have never heard of one, but if someone can tell me what the heck is on this coin I would greatly appreciate it.... 1853 Half Dime
Bruceswar
What is on this coin is cheesy low level yellow looking light... pictures are not great.. and the coin has a huge scratch on it...
TomB
It looks like a generic, circulated coin that is laying on a white sheet of paper and the light setting on the camera is wrong. Either they used film with a regular indoor bulb and neglected to use a color correcting filter, or they used digital and had the light setting set for something like sunlight. kryptonitecomics
But the background is purple? Are you saying that it should be white paper and that they made adjustments to the color etc and the coined turned out yellow It looks like a yellow coin to me plain and simple
TomB
Yes, I would bet that the background is actually white and that the color settings are off, in relation to the light source used, and this made the color of both the background and the coin come out odd. I have done this same thing on my own when using both film and digital.
