Please note, that since the time I sent the below list out yesterday, approximately 1/3 of the coins are on hold or out on approval.

CENTS:

1855 Braided Hair Large Cent PCGS/CAC MS64RB $700

Upright 55. Virtually mark-free surfaces and pleasing mellowed color combine to make this example uncommonly nice for the grade. PCGS ID# 26255968.

Images: http://markfeldcoins.com/client/cent1855pcgs64rb.jpg

1864 No L Bronze Indian Cent PCGS MS66RB $725

Even red-brown color with a solid strike and no apparent flaws worthy of mention. CAC declined to award a sticker to this coin, and I am unable to come up with a possible reason why. PCGS ID# 13601105.

Images: http://markfeldcoins.com/client/cent1864pcgs66rb.jpg

TWO CENT PIECES:

1864 Large Motto Two Cent Piece PCGS/CAC MS65RB $650

Housed in an old green label PCGS holder, this lustrous example looks just like what one should expect for the grade and color designation - it's a textbook MS65RB. PCGS ID#8170512.

Images: http://markfeldcoins.com/client/twocent1864pcgs65rb.jpg

1868 Two Cent Piece PCGS MS64RB $525

Nice color, with very few marks. This one has a great appearance for a mere MS64. PCGS ID#v26279364.

Images: http://markfeldcoins.com/client/twocent1868pcgs64RB.jpg

THREE CENT PIECES:

1851 Three Cent Silver NGC MS64 $450

Unusual color for a Trime, and to my eyes, it is extremely attractive. This coin is also highly lustrous and struck from clashed dies. NGC ID# 3576712-005.

Images: http://markfeldcoins.com/client/threecentailver1851ngc64.jpg

1867 Three Cent Nickel PCGS/CAC MS65 $700

Pristine in its appearance, with lovely icy pastel patina on each side. Struck from clashed dies and exhibiting mint made die striations on the obverse. This coin has a lot going for it. PCGS ID# 10960477.

Images: http://markfeldcoins.com/client/threecentnickel1867pcgs65.jpg

NICKELS:

1913 Type One Buffalo Nickel PCGS/CAC MS65 $200

I paid a premium for this coin's multicolored toning (which some sellers would refer to as "rainbow"). It's beauty is only partially apparent in the accompanying image and it is stunning in hand. PCGS ID# 08727294.

Images: http://markfeldcoins.com/client/nickel1913Type1pcgss65.jpg

1925 Buffalo Nuckel NGC/CAC MS66 $600

Extremely well preserved, with gorgeous light to medium patina gracing each side of the satin-like surfaces. The longer you look at it, the more colors you will see and the more you will like it. NGC ID# 1776058-004

Images: http://markfeldcoins.com/client/nickel1925ngc66.jpg

HALF DIMES:

1850 Stars Obverse Seated Liberty Half Dime NGC/CAC MS64 $600

Extremely lustrous, with flashy, semi-prooflike surfaces. The strike is exceptional and the color is more subtle in hand. By that, I mean that the areas which appear golden, are closer to white than seen in the image. A dazzler! NGC ID# 303601-002

Images: http://markfeldcoins.com/client/halfdime1850ngc64.jpg

1858-O Stars Obverse Seated Liberty Half Dime PCGS/CAC MS64 $600

Here is another atypically nice MS64 Seated Half Dime. Frosty and gently toned on the obverse, with a vibrant, near white reverse. Yes, the image makes it appear as if the latter is (obviously) golden toned. On a technical basis, it sure looks better than MS64 to me. Perhaps the grade was held back by the strike? That question, notwithstanding, I think it deserves at least a 64+. PCGS ID# 10249603.

Images: http://markfeldcoins.com/client/halfdime1858Opcgs64.jpg

1860 Legend Obverse Seated Liberty Half Dime PCGS/CAC MS66+ $1400

Well produced, from lightly clashed dies, this little jewel displays lovely patina on both obverse and reverse. A small scrape in the upper right obverse field is the only flaw worthy of mention. PCGS ID# 26391413.

Images: http://markfeldcoins.com/client/halfdime1860pcgs66plus.jpg

1871 Legend Obverse Seated Liberty Half Dime NGC/CAC MS65 $850

Housed in an old NGC "fatty" holder, this little beauty has everything going for it - great color, bold luster, a sharply detailed strike and loads of eye appeal. Interestingly, when I acquired this coin, it was accompanied by an old "NIOF" flip. For those of you who are not familiar with "NIOF", it stood for Numismatic Investments Of Florida, a dealership that was well known for handling among the finest of coins, a few decades ago. Please excuse the scratches on the back of the holder. NGC ID# 102496-003.

Images: http://markfeldcoins.com/client/halfdime1871ngc65last.jpg

DIMES:

1832 Capped Bust Dime NGC/CAC AU58 $750

Golden-orange and gray patina highlights lustrous surfaces, which bear just the slightest trace of wear. Pleasing in all respects. NGC ID# 7001142-011.

Images: http://markfeldcoins.com/client/dime1832ngc58.jpg

1875 Legend Obverse Seated Liberty Dime PCGS MS62 $225

Lighter in hue and more lustrous than seen in the image, but you get the idea. This is a gorgeous coin and one which is far more appealing than most you will see at this grade level (or higher). PCGS ID# 21695794.

Images: http://markfeldcoins.com/client/dime1875pcgs62.jpg

1876 Legend Obverse Seated Liberty Dime NGC/CAC MS65 $975

Speaking of gorgeous Seated Liberty Dimes - while this one's beauty and exquisite color are not adequately captured in its image, you will have to trust me on this one. It boasts highly vibrant luster, great color on both sides and loads of eye appeal. NGC ID# 691983-009.

Images: http://markfeldcoins.com/client/sold/dime1876NGC65.jpg

1891 Legend Obverse Seated Liberty Dime PCGS MS66 $900

A very clean example, but with somewhat subdued luster. CAC declined to award a sticker to this coin, and my guess is that it was due to the aforementioned luster issue. PCGS ID# 20869103.

Images: http://markfeldcoins.com/client/dime1891pcgs66.jpg

1892 Barber Dime PCGS/CAC MS64 $450

I had to pay a premium for this Barber Dime and that did not surprise me in the least. It is very clean for an MS64 and impresses with its colorful patina and wonderful overall appearance. PCGS ID# 21335004.

Images: http://markfeldcoins.com/client/dime1892pcgs64.jpg

1912 Barber Dime PCGS/CAC MS63 $250

A few obverse marks justifiably keep this one at the MS63 grade level, but it sure looks good! Its color is lighter and luster, brighter, in person. PCGS ID# 16634888.

Images: http://markfeldcoins.com/client/dime1912pcgs63.jpg

1912 Barber Dime PCGS/CAC MS65 $585

Virtually mark-free and highly original looking. NGC ID# 600751-014

Images: http://markfeldcoins.com/client/dime1912pcgs65.jpg

1942 Mercury Dime PCGS PR67 $395

I feel that this Proof Mercury Dime looks pretty good in the image, but far better, up close and personal. The reason I say that is because it possesses some beautiful splashes of multicolored iridescent toning at portions of the border on each side. But that color cannot adequately be seen or begin to be fully appreciated, without having the coin in hand. PCGS ID# 60141374

Images: http://markfeldcoins.com/client/dime1942pcgsPR67.jpg

1944-D Mercury Dime PCGS/CAC MS68 $625

Virtually flawless, and made even more alluring by the presence of scattered areas of multicolored patina on both sides. The color is a bit more subtle, as well as smoother looking and more impressive in hand. A beauty! PCGS ID# 21740507.

Images: http://markfeldcoins.com/client/dime1944dpcgs68.jpg

1945-S Mercury Dime NGC/CAC MS67+ star $325

Here is another sensational looking business strike Mercury Dime. It is even more vibrant than seen in the image, which otherwise provides a very good view of this awesome looking example. A fairly well concealed squiggle of a mark is present on Ms. Liberty's cheek and is mentioned for the sake of accuracy. NGC ID# 1210833-003.

Images: http://markfeldcoins.com/client/dime1945Sngc67plusStar.jpg

TWENTY CENT PIECES:

1875-CC Twenty Cent Piece NGC XF40 $1035

I don't typically handle Twenty Cent Pieces of this grade or date, but this one was too attractive to pass up. I just bought it and a few other coins back from a client, in time to include it/them in this list. NGC ID# 3418210-005

Images: http://markfeldcoins.com/client/sold/twentycent1875ccngcXF40.jpg

QUARTERS:

1861 No Motto Seated Liberty Quarter PCGS/CAC AU55 $280

Pricey for the assigned grade but of very nice quality and with a nice overall look.

PCGS ID#26084831.

Images: http://markfeldcoins.com/client/quarter1861pcgsau55.jpg

1897 Barber Quarter PCGS/CAC PR65 Cameo $2275

A glittering Proof, with lighter centers and more pronounced frost and contrast than seen in the image. A wonderfully appealing example. PCGS ID# 24535669.

Images: http://markfeldcoins.com/client/quarter1897pcgspr65cameo.jpg

1917 Type One Standing Liberty Quarter NGC/CAC MS64FH $500

Highly original looking appearance with a slightly lighter obverse than represented in my image. NGC ID#2586055-015.

Images: http://markfeldcoins.com/client/quarter1917ngc64FH.jpg

1928-S Standing Liberty Quarter NGC/CAC MS66+ $750

Highly lustrous and color-free with approximately 80% FH detail on Ms. Liberty. I would bet heavily that this coin was dipped at one time, but either way, the luster and eye appeal appear undiminished. NGC ID# 3524718-003.

Images: http://markfeldcoins.com/client/quarter1928Sngc66plus.jpg

HALF DOLLARS:

1828 Curl Base 2 No Knob Capped Bust Half Dollar NGC/CAC AU58 $1150

This is a quality and highly original looking Capped Bust Half Dollar. The accompanying image will probably give you a much better idea as to what it looks like, than I could with additional words. NGC ID#36009500-003.

Images: http://markfeldcoins.com/client/halfdollar1828ngcAU58.jpg

1832 Capped Bust Half Dollar NGC AU50 $300

The toning on this offering is lighter, and the luster, more pronounced, than seen in my lackluster image. My apologies for that. NGC ID# 3229425-012.

Images: http://markfeldcoins.com/client/halfdollar1832ngcAU50.jpg

1853 Arrows & Rays Seated Liberty Half Dollar PCGS AU50 $600

An extremely wholesome and original looking example. It would be nearly impossible to locate a more pristine looking representative of this grade, which was also, still desirable looking. PCGS ID# 26283291.

Images: http://markfeldcoins.com/client/halfdollar1853pcgsAU50.jpg

1874 Arrows Seated Liberty Half Dollar NGC PR62 Cameo $1875

Lightly toned in the centers - more so than my image indicates - with colorful iridescence at the portions of the peripheries. The mirrors are deep and watery looking, despite the presence of numerous light hairlines, which account for the low assigned grade. CAC declined to award a sticker to this coin. I still think it looks surprisingly nice for the assigned grade. NGC ID#3524832-007

Images: http://markfeldcoins.com/client/halfdollar1874ngcPR62Cameo.jpg

1894 Barber Half Dollar PCGS/CAC PR64 $1775

Attractively toned in shades of blue, violet and pink. This one looks very close to how it it is portrayed in the accompanying image. Another recent repurchase from a client. PCGS ID# 25593313.

Images: http://markfeldcoins.com/client/sold/halfdollar1894pcgsPR64.jpg

1942 Walking Liberty Half Dollar PCGS/CAC PR65 $700

Housed in an old green label PCGS holder, this mesmerizing example displays obvious cameo contrast over portions of the obverse and the entire reverse.

PCGS ID#2626584.

Images: http://markfeldcoins.com/client/halfdollar1942pcgspr65last.jpg

1942 Walking Liberty Half Dollar PCGS/CAC (gold sticker) PR65 $800

Beautifully toned and well deserving of the gold CAC sticker - my first ever. PCGS ID#2200681.

Images: http://markfeldcoins.com/client/halfdollar1942pcgsPR65.jpg

1946-D Walking Liberty Half Dollar PCGS MS65 $180

Nicely toned and featuring an enticing crescent of color on the obverse from approximately 6:00 to 12:00. PCGS ID# 12122604.

Images: http://markfeldcoins.com/client/sold/halfdollar1946Dpcgs65.jpg

DOLLARS:

1879-S Morgan Dollar NGC/CAC MS65 $215

This attractively toned example looks to be an "end roll toner", as evidenced by the toning pattern on the obverse. The color is slightly lighter and the flash is more pronounced in person. NGC ID# 331535-003.

Images: http://markfeldcoins.com/client/dollar1879sngc65.jpg

1880-S Morgan Dollar PCGS MS66 $395

Beautifully toned in multicolored hues, this striking looking Morgan Dollar is also more lustrous and impressive, when viewed up close and personal.

Images: http://markfeldcoins.com/client/dollar1880Spcgs66.jpg

1884-CC Morgan Dollar NGC MS65PL $550

I rarely buy PL dollars, because, most of the time, the mirror surfaces accentuate any marks, to the point where they are too distracting for my taste. The example herein offered, which I just reacquired from a client, is one of those rare exceptions. While it doesn't look special in the image, in person, it will surprise you, and in a very good way. The mirrors are very deep (approaching DMPL) and clear. And the flash is exceptional. Enough said, or I will have to raise my asking price. NGC ID# 3418077-004.

Images: http://markfeldcoins.com/client/sold/dollar1884ccNGC65PL.jpg

1885-CC Morgan Dollar NGC MS65 $1275

Very clean and nearly color-free, but for traces of toning about the borders. My image does not do justice to the flashy appearance that this coin displays. Encapsulated in an old NGC "fatty" holder. NGC ID# 251079-011.

Images: http://markfeldcoins.com/client/dollar1885CCngc65.jpg

1887 Morgan Dollar NGC MS65 $185

Unusual, colorfully toned obverse; reverse with a smattering of color between 6:00 and 9:00. This wont be for everyone, but I happen to think it is unique and very cool looking. NGC ID# 297556-050.

Images: http://markfeldcoins.com/client/dollar1887ngc65.jpg

1888 Morgan Dollar NGC/CAC MS65* $425

Stunning and even prettier in person! Obviously (though I will still say it anyway), very well deserving of the NGC star for extra eye-appeal. NGC ID# 1567509-001.

Images: http://markfeldcoins.com/client/dollar1888ngc65.jpg

1904 Morgan Dollar NGC/CAC MS64 $825

By now, some of you who have been reading these descriptions and/or looking at the images, are probably thinking "He doesn't usually have this many toned dollars for sale". And you'd be right. I love them when they look like these, but most of the time, when they do, they're priced to the moon. Recently, however, I was fortunate to have acquired a fair number at what I felt to be reasonable prices. And this coin is BEAUTIFUL! ID# 3524725-002.

Images: http://markfeldcoins.com/client/dollar1904ngc64.jpg

1904-O Morgan Dollar PCGS/CAC MS66 $650

Like a good number of the other Morgan Dollars in this offering, this, the last of them, is more lustrous and impressive, when viewed in person. In this particular case, it’s because it possesses dazzling surfaces, which are semi-prooflike and much flashier than seen in the image. Additionally, the toning, while more subtle, in hand, is definitely more enticing than seen. And I dare say, it is (perhaps) breathtaking. PCGS ID# 21980741.

Images: http://markfeldcoins.com/client/dollar1904Opcgs66.jpg

1923-D Peace Dollar NGC/CAC MS65 $1550

Here is another NGC "fatty" holder resident. And, while I think that this coin deserves a 65+, for now, at least, I plan to leave it as is. That is due, in large part, to the old holder and presumed greater likelihood of stability of the coin's surfaces. Speaking of the surfaces, they display areas of highly attractive patina in a wide range of pleasing colors. The luster is bold, as is the strike, and the overall look is far above average for both the date and grade. NGC ID# 103765-005.

SILVER COMMEMORATIVES:

Norfolk PCGS/CAC MS68 $2250

In the case of the Silver Commemoratives in this list, I will have to do without the "I saved the best for last" routine. That is for two reasons: 1) I list commemoratives in alphabetical order. And 2) This and the Norfolk below are the best commemoratives in this list. They are also two of the most exquisite Norfolk commemoratives I have ever seen. And that includes several others which were also graded MS68. Alas, I had to pay dearly for each of them, but damn, they are fine looking! Rather than make this description even longer, by trying to describe this coin's appearance, I will point you to the image link below. Please click on it and enjoy the view. There is no charge for that. PCGS ID# 16065022.

Images: http://markfeldcoins.com/client/commemNorfolk1pcgs68.jpg

Norfolk PCGS/CAC MS68 $3350

Similar to, but even wilder than the other MS68 Norfolk above, this one might melt your heart, were you to view it in person. As I did in the previous description, I direct your attention to the image link below, so that you might enjoy gazing at this gorgeous coin. PCGS ID# 24344094.

Images: http://markfeldcoins.com/client/commemNorfolk2pcgs68.jpg

Roanoke PCGS MS66 $350

Here is a vibrant, highly lustrous color-free example. I don't usually buy white commems, but this one's flash sold me on it. PCGS ID# 07878706.

Images: http://markfeldcoins.com/client/commemRoanokePCGS66.jpg

Robinson NGC/CAC MS65 $285

To my eyes, this Robinson isn't beautiful, but it certainly is attractive. And that is saying quite a lot for this issue. The coin is just a little bit lighter and brighter than portrayed in the accompanying image. NGC ID# 3473214-012

Images: http://markfeldcoins.com/client/commemRobinsonNGCs65.jpg

Texas 1936 NGC/CAC MS67 $685

When tilted under a light, this Texas offers stunning iridescent red, green and violet tones about most of the obverse border. It's pretty enough to make a grown (coin collector) man or woman cry like a baby - but in a good way, if that's even possible. : )

NGC ID# 3581000-003.

Images: http://markfeldcoins.com/client/commemTexas1936ngc67.jpg

GOLD:

1834 Classic Quarter Eagle PCGS MS64 $17,000

Generally well struck with glowing luster, semi-prooflike surfaces, lovely, rich golden-orange color and wonderful flash. Once I pick up this coin, it's a challenge to put it back down. So, rather than fighting it, instead, I usually just succumb and keep looking at it. I mean why not?! Still, CAC declined to award it a sticker. I was very surprised and disappointed when I got that result, which, apparently was due to some light hairlines on the reverse. That doesn't stop me from greatly appreciating this extremely impressive coin, however. Nor should that stop you from doing the same, or even owning it.

Images: http://markfeldcoins.com/client/goldtwohalf1834pcgsMSS64.jpg

1857 Three Dollar Gold Piece PCGS/CAC AU58 $2575

Although I was not the buyer at the time, this coin sold for $2760, as lot #2204 in the March, 2010 Heritage Fort Worth ANA Sale, wherein it was described as: "1857 $3 AU58 PCGS. CAC. Traces of green patina are visible on the yellow-gold surfaces of this lustrous near-Mint example. Both sides have sharp design details, save for slight weakness on the ribbon bow. Heavy clash marks are evident on both sides. A small mark is noted on Liberty's jawline.(Registry values: N1793) (#7976)". PCGS ID# 14907746.

Images: http://markfeldcoins.com/client/goldthree1857pcgsau58.jpg

1907 No Motto Saint Gaudens Double Eagle PCGS MS64+ $2600

A gorgeous example, displaying bold luster, lovely color and wonderful eye appeal. It looks to be an obverse scratch away from an 65 grade. The scratch, seen in the lower right obverse field, is fine and fairly well hidden (other than in my image, which makes it look worse and more conspicuous than it really is). PCGS ID#26527439.
