There is a sizeable group of collectors that loves to see 1930s and 1940s silver with this untouched, original wood grain patina, such as these two featured PCGS MS65FBL CAC gem Franklin halves! Subtle bursts of iridescent color and thick, satiny frost enhance this type of patination beyond what photographs can demonstrate.
