Coin software suggestions?

Anyone have a suggestion for inventory software other than just creating an excel spreadsheet? Ideally, I would like something to automatically interface with realistic valuation updates.

Nah, I use Excel. If you are slightly proficient with it, you can write a macro to update prices by grabbing them from whatever website you want.

I use Filemaker Pro 12 database, was using Filemaker Pro 6 for many years.

I use MS Access and wrote some VBA behind it.

 

If you don't want to do that much work just use Excel. I don't care too much about updating values or anything. I just want a list of what I own...

I tried one of the commercial programs once (can't remember the name). Went back to Excel - the commercial program tried to force me to do things its way, and with Excel I can track whatever I want.
