Description by NRCDAC - Numismatic Research, Certification and Digital Archiving Corporation:

Shimmering, satin luster remains virtually pristine, particularly on the obverse, which offers an appearance highly suggestive of a better mint-state level of preservation. Indeed, overall desirability should be deemed superior to coins of higher technical grades, but lesser aesthetic quality. This being said, technical considerations include the slightest touch of friction that may be seen on the forward roundness of Liberty's cheek, and there is an unmistakable change in surface texture on the eagle's head, primarily at the exact center of his upper neck.

The upper rounded area of the eagle's shoulder display a similar aberration in surface texture, and there are the results of the lightest possible friction from only momentary circulation. Hairlines of the most trivial nature flash in an out of view in the obverse lower left-field, while some additional frictional hairlines are present beneath "ICA". There are accompanied by a cluster of similar diagonal hairlines in the obverse lower- left field, confirming the AU-58 grade.
