1940S Slanted Label Variety that is under graded. What is not to like?

It's one of the sharpest, cleanest ones that I've ever seen (two outa three ain't bad) but that's just ALOT of bucks for such a coin.

I'm not 100% sure, but are not those images created by a scanner bed? The reason I ask that, the hologram effect of the gold CAC sticker is muted, leading me to believe a scanner was used.

 

I don't know for sure what HA uses but it stands to reason that it may have been. If so, it is an extremely high resolution, high tech and high quality one that certainly captures very accurate images----not something that you just buy at Walmart. :)

 

Well, stats don't lie.

The closing price tells me Heritage is doing just fine using whatever cheap scanner and all.

Why would they fix what apparently doesn't seem to be broken?
