I know many collect the Mercury dime and believe this is the single best design coin in America.

 

So why haven't there been a club form so far?

No official club or society that I'm aware of. However, serious Merc collectors can get to know one another, and buy, sell or trade coins, through the PCGS and NGC collectors societies. You should send messages to the folks with Registry sets. Some ignore them, but others are happy to banter via e-mail. I've made some good trades and buys that way, know who's got what, who's selling, who's buying, etc.
