Barber appearance

I really like the barbers, qtr and halves, they all look so crappy though, you see a very wide varience on the appearance. What is the key to finding undipped, cleaned etc in the barbers?

Get to know Mike Hayes (Elbesaar) he post on the Thread "Post Your Barbers"

This collector has a great eye for Charles Barbers designs.

Excellent business man too!

Most Barber coins spent decades in commerce and much of the remainder were treated harshly be dealers and collectors. I attempt to carry superb Barber coinage, regardless of if the coin is VG8 or MS66, but these are not common when they are nice. In general, you will have to pay more for the nicer pieces and many collectors are not willing to pay more for this quality.

Thanks, OP.

I am only a collector who enjoys all Barbers

& even though some may be worn down heavily,

they still have a lot of character. I am currently

working on another Dime set in XF / AU & upgrading

my latest VF- XF Half set.

I have on occasion been given the opportunity to assist

friends selling off their collections. If any one needs help

locating a certain coin, I'd be happy to help.

Occasionally, I also need help locating a certain date as well.
