Erie Canal So-Called Dollar in silver in PR-66. Finest graded by NGC

I am offering this Erie Canal So-Called Dollar in NGC PR-66. The piece is totally original and has never been dipped. The Proof mirrors are complete although there is some evidence finger prints on the fields. There are no significant hairlines or other impairments.

 

This piece was described as "uncollectable" in the first edition of the So-Called Dollars book. It is now rated as an R-6. Send me a PM if you want the NCG serial number so that you can check it out on the NCG site. The price is $11,500, post paid.
