I dont think you will be able to get this in a non details holder. Coin is worth around $1000 - $1200 as is .

In my opinion, regardless of profit motive, the coin should go to NCS.

I'd give NCS a shot. The piece will probably come back with a "bright gold" look that might look unnatural, but the eye appeal should be improved. Unlike copper, the surface under the surface residue may not have eaten into the design. If it has that will be an negative, but at least you will have taken the opportunity to improve the appearance of the piece.

I'd give it a shot. That looks more like surface encrustations rather than residue and it will require more than just a dip in acetone to remove.
