Dime missing outer layer......Dipped?

Sorry for the crappy pics, I'm using a real old camera. It looked like a penny when I pulled it out of the roll.

I found 2 in some dime rolls, both look like pennies. Since you both said basically the same thing, that would strip the outer nickel layer?

It isn't stripped, just discolored. Check the weight. If one layer was missing it would weigh a little under 2 grams. If both were missing around 1.5 grams. My bet is you will find that you coin still weighs within the mint tolerance range of 2.27 grams +/- .1 grams.
