What do you think of this shiney new penny?

 

This one really screamed at me, so I had to buy it. The seller's photos are amazing. Do you think this one will grade? or is it too good to be true?

Well, it's very well struck, but definitely not a proof. It has an almost "orange peel" look to the fields from somewhat worn dies. I guess that would be called "metal flow lines"? I can't wait to get it in hand to see if it has any luster.

When you get the coin in hand or if you already have it------ Check the last 9 in the date for doubling. The two 9s in the date do not match and the last may be doubled....
