Authenticity Unverifiable

If a coin is returned "Authenticity Unverifiable", is there a way to find out what was in question or a reason why it was unverifiable?

Thanks for the question. Here's a link that explains Authenticity Unverifiable in detail. The short answer is no, it is too ambiguous. We label a coin Authenticity Unverifiable only after we've done additional research and consultation and still cannot definitively state whether the coin is genuine or not genuine.
