Roosevelt dime Full Torch description.

Thanks for the question. The FT or Full Torch designation is applied to Roosevelt Dimes that have both upper and lower pair of horizontal bands split as well as the vertical lines of the torch being defined. Here is a link to an article on the NGC website with an image and additional information.

Really? The "FT" designation on Roosevelt dimes is an extra $12?

Sorry for any confusion. To clarify, Full Torch is attributed as part of the grading process and there is no additional charge. However, if you have a coin that is already certified by NGC without "FT" and you feel that it really merits the Full Torch designation, you may send it in under Designation Review, which costs $12.
