MS65 Franklins?

To crack out or not?

 

Hello all!

 

I've been contemplating upgrading my NGC membership, but am not sure if I should crack some Franklins out of their ICG MS65 holders... Years I have are 1959, 1958D, 1959, 1959D, 1960, 1960D, 1961 & 1962. I paid no more than $25 for each of them. Below is the 1960D that would be worth the most. Do you think this one would still grade MS65 w/ NGC?

 

Any thoughts would be appreciated!

hi

it's hard too tell from your picture but i would sugest you wait, these coins are not very expensive yet and they are already slab, unless you want too start a registry set than send them.

Drew,

If you had some good Full Bell Lines there I would say yes but by the pic the coin looks pretty nice but no lines and you would lose money if it came back @ MS64. I'd say pass and get something worth getting graded with your submissions. Remember the free submissions are actually paid for when we renew. So don't really count them as free.
