It's really not a counterfeit becuase it only uses elements of the design of the American coin in the center. Let's put it this way. Would a silver round with the elements of the design of a Gobrecht dollar, which I have seen in years past, be a counterfeit?

 

There are limits to consumer protection. If you a misinformed enough (non PC description , "dumb enough") to think that this is an 1846 U.S. silver dollar, you have no business buying coins.

SANVPLE=SAMPLE for someone who is transcribing words they don't know written by people who can't write them well. I'm sure the Chinese makes more sense. I wonder how big it is. It could be some oversized slug struck in the middle with fake 1846 $1 dies.
