How about a piece of Massachusetts silver? Here is an Oak Tree two pence, which was the smallest of all the Mass. silver coins.

 

 

And here is a really wonderful example of the Type I Silver Three cent piece. High grade examples of these coins tend to get unsightly spots because of their 75% silver, 25% copper alloy.
