1921 D Morgan Silver Dollar - Cleaned? Worth Grading?

Hi everyone. I am certainly no expert at spotting coins that have been cleaned nor do I have any honed grading skills. Can anyone offer advice with this coin?

It is a harshly cleaned AU coin. It is worth the price of silver, about $25.

I agree that it looks like it might have been cleaned. Regardless the piece is clearly circulated, and it's a common date. In other words, it is worth it's melt value.

Even if it hadn't been cleaned, it would have to be MS65 or better to make it worthwhile submitting for grading.
