1882 CC LSD Wichita Show

As with past years, always enjoy seeing the same dealers (especially Wendell) and seeing if I can make some trades. Found (2) 1882 CC's that caught my eye. This is a 82CC Vam 3D (last stage die). Numerous die cracks and clashes throughout with the key being the die crack from the top of the cap through Liberty and down in front of the forehead. This one is a very late state with the crack continuing thru the E and P.

 

Thought some here might enjoy a Vam which has a lot of character and multiple issues.

I like the 82-CC VAM-3 series because of the die progression. Several years ago, I purchased a 19-coin "roll" which produced all four (3A-3D) in addition to a very cool VAM-2c, Hit List 40.

 

Minor correction: LSD is an illegal drug. LDS is "Late Die State". :devil:
