Lehigh Coins on E-Bay

33 posts in this topic

Why not post them here first, and save Ebay fees?

I have hundreds of coins to sell and posting them here is not a feasible way to manage offers on that many coins. In addition, the exposure that E-Bay provides is far greater than BST's.

Don't worry though, I have identified a number of coins that I plan to feature both here and on the CU BST.

So are you unloading all your coins to concentrate on jefferson nickels?

No, I am unloading all my coins because I am unemployed. The only coins I am keeping are my registry Jeffersons.

I know that feeling all to well brother. I was unemployed for 18 months...first time in my 44 years of working. Sorry to hear this and hope it corrects very soon.

All the best...

Jim

That sucks, sorry to hear that. I was laid off in 2009 - but after 6 months I found an even better job, where I still am. Keep trying, and good luck in the job hunt!

I have looked twice and cannot find that purty war nickel....... what gives?

Okay, all of the purty war nickels have been listed.

I think I am going to take a break from the Jeffs and list the Peace Dollars next.

Paul, sorry to hear of your present situation. More than just a few years ago I too was in a similar situation due to health related issues. I was forced to disperse a collection which started back when I was just ten years old. We do what we have to.

Good wishes to you in seeking another position, and with your sale.

TPR.

I know that it is not feasible to post every coin listed on eBay in the BST Forum, but it may behoove you to do this with the "better" pieces (read as more expensive pieces). I think eBay charges a total of 15% (with PayPal) on Buy-It-Now items. Just some advice that I thought you might find helpful; I hope I'm not intruding and my post isn't construed as being annoying (it wasn't meant to be).

I only have 5 Morgan Dollars listed right now, but the rest are coming soon and many of them are fantastically toned. How about a little preview.

Shane,

I don't know who owns that coin, my 1946-D is a 46-D over inverted D NGC MS66. Perhaps your client would be interested in making an offer on this coin.

1946-D Jefferson Nickel NGC MS67 5FS

I have no idea why it doesn't have a star!
