Cool!

 

To me, a really really neat find would be a 1795 half-dollar in PO-1 that does have a readable date.

 

I don't collect coins in those grades, so please forgive me if my question sounds naive, but aren't coins with a readable date usually bumped up to FR2 grades?

They won't grade the coin if it doesn't have a readable date - or is unquestionably attributed to a date (either by die variety, or a one year type). Even in PO-1, the date must be determinable.
