I recently sent in 5 coins to be graded using the coupon for 5 free submissions and I want to know what you think about what I sent in.

I visually examined the coins and checked their values in the red book. heres the coins I sent in and what grade I considered them to be. When I receive the coins in a few weeks I will post pictures of the graded coins.

1899-S morgan dollar-----MS-62

1880-O morgan dollar-----MS-64

1955 franklin half dollar--PR??

1883 no cents nickel----AU-55

1869 3 cent ------AU-55 to MS-60

Let me know what you think!!!

thanks!

It's hard to give an accurate opinion without photographs of the coins, but I will say that it is not unusual to over estimate the grades on the first submission. If you received a MS64 grade on an 1880-O, then I would think of it as a wise expenditure of a submission coupon. The same applies with the 1899-S, but I'm not sure that I would have slabbed the others.
