The NGC Registry can only accept the standard 1943-P 5C for its specific slot. The Registry does not accept the overdate or any other significant variety in its place. This is not only true for Jefferson Nickels but for all series within the Registry.

 

Significant varieties will be found in the complete sets for each series. We will be looking at the inclusion of these varieties in the shortened sets such as the Wartime Nickel series.
